| Memorial day weekend is coming up fast and if you’re into music at all, it means you have plans to go to Sasquatch, the largest spring music-fest this side of Spokane. It just gets bigger every year and this year huge names like Bjork, The Beastie Boys, The Arcade Fire, Interpol, and Spoon will all be performing. Of course, many of your favorite local artists will be performing too, including four bands on the super-cool label, Barsuk Records.
Two days of awesome music and you don’t have your tickets yet? Seattle.net and Barsuk can help you out. We’re giving away a pair of Saturday passes to Sasquatch as well as a Barsuk-Sasquatch-Bands gift pack that includes a Barsuk logo t-shirt, assorted Barsuk stickers and a CD from each of the Barsuk bands that are playing at the ‘squatch. What do you have to do to win? It’s simple:
1. Pick your favorite lyric from a song performed by one of the four Barsuk-Sasquatch Bands
2. E-mail us the lyric, song title, and band name, along with an e-mail address where we can contact you.
3. Enter by May 14th. The winners will be contacted on May 16th.
You will be entered in a random drawing for the first prize (the Sasquatch Tickets) and the second prize (the gift-pack.) Enter today, pack up your camping gear and you could be on your way to Saturday’s Sasquatch for free!
