Take a Hike
... on the Burke Gilman trail. The Burke Gilman
is Seattle's famous biking/ waking/ running trail that goes from Kenmore to Fremont and
totals 14.1 miles.
Paddle it up
Rent boat on Green Lake - You can do more than
walk around the lake, you can explore the water by renting a paddle
boat or kayak and gliding on it.
On a beautiful day this is the best way to soak up some rays.
You scream Ice cream
Ice cream tour on Lake Union - If you
are in the mood to take a cruise around Lake Union, this is the
absolute best. Located under the Aurora bridge in Fremont, this Lake
Union cruise gives you ice cream to enjoy while the captain points out
spots like locations of Sleepless in Seattle and Paul Allen's monster
of a yacht.
Jump in
Take a swim - Seattle Parks and Recreation spends
around 3 million dollars so you can enjoy the beauty of the city and
have unique benefits like over ten indoor and outdoor pools and 30
wading pools and water attractions. Go to this website for a list of all

Go cruisin'
Take a Roll down Alki Beach - Rent rollerblades,
skateboards, bikes, scooters at one of the many small shops along Alki
beach and catch the best views of the skyline while getting a bit of
exercise.
Open your mind
Sign up for an experimental class - Seattle has
two ways to learn random, but interesting skills: Discoveru.org and The
Experimental College. Both offer many different classes that teach you
skills that you would not be able to learn in a normal class setting.
Some classes include Flirting 101, Introduction to Blogging, The Magic
of Bio-Diesel and Coffee Tasting 101.
Quench your thirst
Tour a brewery - One of Redhook's two breweries is here in western Washington. Head to woodinville any day of the week for a $1 tour of the brewery which includes 3-4 tastings of beer and a souvenir glass.

Start a fire
Bonfire at Golden Gardens - Even when the day
is warm and sunny, nights can get a little chilly. This is a perfect
excuse to bundle up and stoke a fire at Golden Gardens and roast
marshmallows. You must bring your own fire-making necessities, but
there are many fire-pits available, volleyball courts and the perfect
setting to watch the sunset grace the Olympics.

Enjoy cinema in nature - This "to do" will
have to wait for the summer, but mark your calendars for these upcoming
