Everyone in Seattle knows you have to get outside when the weather is nice. Its a rare treat so you have to take complete advantage of it. One way to enjoy the summer is to watch an outdoor film at the Mural Amphitheatre, located in the Seattle Center.
For four nights in August, you can enjoy free films on a 45-foot screen.
The movies will be shown August 1 -2 and August 8 9 and begin at dusk. It is a good idea to arrive early to find a good spot. You can spread out a blanket, watch the sun set, take in great views of the Space Needle, and relish in being outside.
Watching a movie at the Mural is a great activity for friends, family, or even a date. There is a great variety of movies being shown so there is something for everyone.

Juno: The Academy Award-winning dramedy about a sharp-tongued teenager learning about love and dealing with an unexpected pregnancy.

The Goonies: A group of kids go on an adventure to find the buried treasure of One-Eyed Willy in an attempt to save their town.

Batman Begins: A superhero movie about how Bruce Wayne became what he was destined to be: Batman.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show @ MIDNIGHT: A musical comedy that parodies science fiction and horror films. This movie has the longest running theatrical release in film history and is a cult classic.
You can pack your own picnic or enjoy Center House foods and beverages which will be available for purchase on movie nights. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a summer night, see a movie, and be with friends or family. And you dont have to spend a dime to do it.
