When you get through the droves of University students and Ave. rats (a stark juxtaposition, you’ll see) and are able to get down to the nitty gritty you’ll find some great shops hidden among the pho and coffee joints. The Ave. shopping is a lot of combed-over used clothing and CD stores, but there are always gems to be found.
University Village is your traditional mall with all the stores you would expect to find, making it much easier to navigate and find exactly what you’re looking for, but what fun is that.
