Seattle First Thursday Art In The Park Pioneer Square
Sponsored by the Starbucks Coffee Company, Art in the Park is an event
within First Thursday Art Walk in which artists can set up a vending
area in Occidental Park and sell their wares. Paintings, photography
and jewelry are common but there is always something unusual. Vending
takes place from Noon until 9pm. See more information below.
2007 SCHEDULE
FEBRUARY 1, MARCH 1, and APRIL 5, 2007
11:00 AM: Registration and set-up begins
Noon: Vending begins
9:00 PM: Vending ends; take-down begins
MAY 3, JUNE 7, JULY 5, AUGUST 2 and SEPTEMBER 6, 2007
11:00 AM: Registration and set-up begins
Noon: Vending begins
10:00 PM: Vending ends; take-down begins
OCTOBER 4, NOVEMBER 1 and DECEMBER 6, 2007
11:00 AM: Registration and set-up begins
Noon: Vending begins
9:00 PM: Vending ends; take-down begins
ART IN THE PARK PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES
Art in the Park participants are expected to be considerate and respectful toward other artists, patrons, and staff at all times. Threatening language and actions will not be tolerated.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
• Arrive at Occidental Park.
• Go to the Registration table under the red Pioneer Square tent.
• Present a current City of Seattle Business License (or copy) issued under your name.
• Sign-in and pay all applicable Booth Fees.
• Receive a 10% Parks Commission Envelope and a “Registered Artist” card.
• Begin setting up your booth
• Have fun, and sell your art!
• Turn in your 10% Parks Commission Envelope before you leave.
