Dog Parks

This is a list of dog-friendly parks in Seattle. There are certain rules you have to follow to use these facilities, so be sure to check out the website before you go at: Seattle.Gov

  • Dr. Jose Rizal Park (Beacon Hill)
    1008 12th Ave. S
    You can enjoy amazing views of the Puget sound and the Seattle skyline and, while your dog goes crazy in the off-leash area. It's a park both you and your pet can enjoy.
  • Genesee Park (South Seattle)
    4316 S Genesee St.
    This park's off-leash area is fully-fenced for those pups that like to wander. There is also a doggie drinking fountain, in case you forget to pack some.
  • Golden Gardens Park (Ballard)
    8498 Seaview Pl. NW
    Golden Gardens has a fenced off-leashed area. There is a new area in this park specifically for small or shy dogs.
  • Sam Smith Park (South Seattle)
    1400 Martin Luther King Jr Way S
    This fully-fenced dog park is a great place for exploring with your dog. There are plenty of high slopes and roaming areas for exercising. You'll recognize it by the big sculpture of a blue dog.
  • Marymoor Park (Redmond)
    12718 1st Ave. NE
    This park is very secluded. You and your dog can enjoy a quiet, outdoors off-leash area. There are also nature trails for strolling.
  • I-5 Colonnade
    Beneath I-5, south of E Howe St.
    This park has a new off-leash dog area to enjoy.
  • Plymouth Pillars Park Boren Ave. and Pike St.
    This park was newly renovated and has an off-leash dog area.
  • Regrade Park (Belltown)
    2251 3rd Ave.
    This park is a bit small and all concrete, but it is conveniently located downtown for the city dwelling pooches to enjoy. The people and dog watching here is fun too.
  • Warren G. Magnuson Park (Sandpoint)
    7400 Sand Point Way NE
    The off-leash area is located in the center of the park. It has an area for small and shy dogs, beach access for the dog that likes to swim, and nine acres for running and playing.
  • Westcrest Park (White Center)
    9000 8th Ave. SW
    This park has a small and shy area and four acres for romping around with your dog. There is a doggie drinking fountain as well.
  • Woodland Park (Wallingford)
    Aurora Ave. N and N 59th St.
    This is a smaller park with only two acres of off-leash area, but there is a doggie drinking fountain.
